Energy has always been a hot and thorny issue in China’s economic development, having a direct impact on the issue of sustainability. With dramatic changes taking place in the international energy structure, China is faced with challenges posed by other countries’ energy strategy deployment. The book reviews China’s energy development in terms of energy saving, renewable energy, coal, petroleum and natural gas, and electricity, and discusses reform of and changes to China’s energy management system.
